We were traveling from South Dakota to Oklahoma, but along the way, we missed a turn and ended up still driving to Oklahoma, just on a different highway. By chance we discovered the Deluxe Motel. We met Tim and his wife, along with Missy and Snickers. Tim is a very friendly, chatty guy with lots of energy. He opened his home to us and showed us his own handmade furniture and collections. We saw his man cave with way too many things along with his hunting skills. Our motel room was quiet, cozy, super clean, and had a really comfy bed. The thermostat was set at 68° and we were very comfortable all night. I doubt we'll be back this way again, but we think travelers would be happy to stay here.
This motel is a fun place to stay at that has that small town charm and retro vibe. I love the drive up rooms and the hometown feel. Tim and his wife are awesome to us while we was there. He brought out blankets when it got chilly for us while having our cocktails outside on a nice spring night. I had a larger group and we filled all the rooms up and we had a nice group vacation and Tim was awesome. When we come back this way we will stay with the Deluxe Motel again. Thank again Tim and Mrs Tim (sorry forgot your name already)
In a small city like Neligh (Nee-Lee), its nice to find a small locally owned motel like this to stay at when needed. Very clean rooms, good standard hotel A/C that works as it should, very good showers with nice hot water, and the owners are very accommodating. If you are here for more than a few days the owners Tim and Kate will make you feel at home thats for sure! Highly recommended!
They are very welcoming and down to earth. Rooms are very nice and the bed is comfortable. Good location too. Highly recommend this place if you’re staying in Neligh!
Great clean quaint room in small town. Great location, though, considering we stumbled upon the hotel and needed to rest. Very kind and friendly couple, which was appreciated! Also, the local animals welcomed my daughter and our dog as well. Highly recommend.
